Rolex - 116600 - Seadweller

Good morning,

Long time lurker going for his first Rolex.

Wanted everyone's opinion on a 116600 Seadweller for a smaller wrist and I'm basically a one watch guy.

I daily wear a SKX007 and figure it's time to take a step up. I have gone through a few other nice watches PO, Seamaster, ect but all have been flipped.

Trusted seller offered me a like new for $9500 which seems fair but wanted everyone's opinion.

Other models on the short list instead would be a 114060 no date or a 14060M with drilled lugs (like that this watch wears smaller and the drilled lugs but I hate giving up the gridlock as my wrist changes a lot during the day and blue lume)

From the watches you've listed, it would be between the 114060 and the SD-c for me. I think you get the best bang for your buck with the sub, but if you like the SD better, then the money factor is not huge, IMO.

Get the SD4K if money is no option. I have it and love it. I have a 6.75 inch flat wrist and for me it's perfect.

114060. The SD4K is top heavy IMO. SubC is far more balanced.

Thanks for the help

Sent the trusted dealer a message that we would take it pending a few small details.

I disagree with people the SD4k is top heavy....it's actually very balanced and easy to wear (and I have a small wrist too). It's one of the most comfortable modern 6 digit I own and it wears surprisingly effortlessly without the diver's extension. I think you're making a great decision OP going with it....here it is on my 6.375-6.5" wrist:

By far my favorite 6 digit Rolex diver......close second would be the LVC.

Watch is being ordered tonight

Almost snagged a Pepsi 16710 but I think this fits the bill a little better for now.

Hopefully they release a steel Pepsi in the next few years.
