Any suggestions how to clean off salt residue stuck in and around the seals?
Rinsing or some pooldiving today didn't do the trick, I used some soap and cleaned most of the watch but I didn't want to push the salt in under the bezel so I didn't touch it.

I use a soft bristle tooth brush with soap and water, works great.

soak it in fresh water for a while to let the salt dissolve, then a toothbrush gently to get out remaining residue.

My AD has an ultrasonic machine that will clean places where something like a toothbrush can't. I can just stop in anytime for a free cleaning.

Ah, I stand corrected - thanks for letting me know. My dealer mentioned the ultrasonic and the bracelet...I assumed this was for the entire watch.

Seawater, and the salts found within, are alkaline, not acidic, unless you are swimming near the outflow of an acid factory.

this thread kind of makes me wish i paid more attention in chemistry class. Both answers sound plausible to me.

I do this. It works well.

Stay away from the crown though not sure how high pressure it is.
