Tudor Black Bay Crown Digs into Hand?
Hi all,
I recently acquired a Tudor Black Bay Blue. I had been in love with the watch since I saw pictures of it on Hodinkee, and was more than in love when I first received it. However, I have been less than enthused while actually wearing it. My issues stems from the fact that the heavy case seems to drag the watch down my wrist, causing the oversize crown to dig into the back of my hand. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you fix it? I'd really prefer not to sell, but if I can't figure this out, I will probably end up swapping it for a Seiko MM300. Thanks!

Haven't experienced that with mine either, is the bracelet/strap properly adjusted?

This is one of the main reasons why I wear my watches on my right hand. I tend to wear sports models with larger crowns and the crown dig drives me nuts.
if you have the bracelet adjusted a little tighter so you can wear it higher up on the wrist it helps.

Sounds like you may be wearing it too far down...try adjusting the bracelet so it's behind the protruding bone below the wrist.

I tend to prefer having my watch on my left hand, as I drive a manual, and a watch would only become a nuisance.
I am going to try and adjust the bracelet again to make it tighter, but the watchmaker at Wempe was pretty adamant that this was perfect for my wrist when I had it sized the first time around. How do people feel about something like a RubberB strap when worn to the office?
