When you least expect it....
...I went by Bachendorfs today to pick up a strap that they threw in with my latest Panerai purchase. Planned on running in and just running back out. Well when I ran out I had a second watch with me.
Got a very handsome discount on a watch that I have always liked so I figured what the heck, it is a fun watch that I will use as my beater. I used to own the white dial on a bracelet, this time I got the black dial on the rubber strap, the Seamaster GMT. No pics yet, but I have always liked this watch.

I love the bezel on this one too. I just got it for what I will wear it for, a comfortable wearer that can take alot of the pool and work outside time this summer. I am very happy with this purchase for sure.

Thanks guys, not sure how much wrist time it will see, but I know I like it, so I made sure to get it. Did not buy this one with any intention to move it, just have a pool and beater watch. Very happy with it.
Some quick pics, I will try to capture this dial better real soon. Side by side with my 112

That's what G-Shocks are made fore mate! Not Omegas. :-) (even though the Seamaster is more than up to the task)

Yes agree Mamas and Daren a very nice very underrated GMT watch.Great pictures Daren, the two tone bezel with the black dial and red T/Z hand works well.

Daren, you do realize the number of straps you could get for the price of that Omega?????
Nice score. I guess we all need a 'beater' for working around the house. |
