Thoughts on a potential trade

Hi Guys
I've been offered a Pam 312 for both of my omegas (latest planet ocean and latest smp 300m) both my watches are from 2016 as is the panerai all watches have boxes and papers

What would you do?

This trade will leave me without a diver but I am looking to add a hulk in a couple of years

All thoughts welcome plus I do flip quite a bit so that may be worth considering too

Cheers
John

I'm not a Pam fan. I wouldn't. I only flipped my PO cause I picked up a DSSD-blue and it wasn't getting wrist time. I regret that decision and wished I held onto it.

Is flipping the SMP and cash for the pam an option?

This is all personal opinion, but 1) I also have a PO, 42mm 2500 caliber and when I consider flipping it I read about someone who regrets doing so. And 2) I'm not a fan of Panerai's.

I effectively flipped an unloved Submariner for a Panerai. I love the Panerai. Don't miss the Submariner. Have you tried on the exact piece or exact case? It took me a while to find the perfect fit. Probably easier to sell Omega than Panerai if you don't feel it after a while, but they have their fans.

I’m not an Omega fan, so I would easily do the trade, and also the Panerai 312 comes with a rubber strap you can dive for 300 ft no problems

What Omega watches are you thinking of trading? If one is the Speedy Pro don't do it. Keep it. It's an icon that will not go down in value and it's a superb watch! Save up for the Hulk or other Sub. Good luck.

I've had and loved the 312 before - so I know the watch just not sure if it's a bad trade as I also like the omegas

Have you tried on the 312?

I've had one and it sits high on the wrist as it is thicker than a luminor and the cushion case doesn't help as it pushes it higher on the wrist.

As a Panerai fan, I am not a fan of this model.

i think you're a bit upside down but the PAM is actually a diver so, you're not losing one. if you like it, do it.

I’d trade both for the “Hulk” or the PAM, in that order.

Sound advice here.

And here.

Ok, I’m Paneristi so I’m a little biased. The Omegas will only go one way in value and that’s down.

The 312 has been discontinued and the LVc is becoming increasing difficult to pick up at a sensible price. Tough choice.

Once upon a time I was a Princess, an Omega Jedi Apprentice and still a defender of the Swiss Watchmaker brand. Beware of the Dark Side, I want you to keep the PO 600 LM Co Ax MC at all costThis is not a Jedi Mind trick !
