116500 Italy and Switzerland

I'm going to be in Italy and Switzerland next week. Is there any point asking for a Daytona or even to be put on the list?

Not had any luck even getting on list anywhere yet

Probably not!

I emailed a couple of Swiss AD's earlier this summer but received a very polite non or nein in response...

I agree - probably not. Tried in Lucerne ad a few weeks back and was told they only sell to residents. Kind of leaves us UK based a bit stuck given it seems impossible to be considered for one in uk

I was in Zurich, lucerne, milan, venice, florence and rome last july and it seems ss sports watches are hard to find let alone the newest bad boy in town.

Not a single chance, zero. Swiss AD’s are often in luxury resorts. So many wealthy people visit those places from all over the world, so there is high demand all the time.

My local swiss AD (Bucherer) told me that there is a five year wait on SS Daytonas right now.
