Yep I seen this on heaps of GTM2c's for some reason.

Mine doesnt have it - when I bought mine I triple checked to ensure my triangle didnt have this. It makes it look not nice and cheapish.

Mine had the same thing and an AD friend of mine recommmended a creative solution that worked really well for me. Take a steamer you would use for wrinkles in your clothing and steam the triangle. I used the steam function on my iron. After 10 or so seconds take a pencil eraser and rub it on the triangle. Do this a few times and you’ll bring that triangle back to a bright silvery color again.
