My Second Rolex: BLNR or DJ41?

No contest. Always BLNR

I would get something more different than you have now. DJ... Plus, the 41 has the badass jubilee bracelet. Then you'll have different watches for different occasions, much like a boss.

Buy a DJ36 because all the other watches mentioned are too big for your wrist IMHO.

honestly they all look too large on your wrist. try a 36 DJ fluted with super jubilee (no clasp!...41 has that big clasp.)

Add me to the too big list! Datejust in 36 would be perfect.

I’m no expert but I agree with earlier posters... get a smaller watch. 40+ seem just too big for your wrist imho

Yes, that's a consideration...the DJ41 did look a bit big on my small wrist. I thought I could still pull it off if I went that route but perhaps not.

Have you decided on one yet?

I do like DJ41 but BLNR first.

At this point, I'm going for the BLNR. The mind / logic thinks the DJ41 is the way to go because it's more of a dress watch and different from my YM (lots of great comments in this thread). However the heart pulls for the BLNR just because I find it a more attractive watch (guess I still prefer the sport watches). It's more important for me to go for the watch I like than to add variety partly for the sake of doing so (that being said the DJ41 is a sweet watch but a second choice). Also, I want to see other combos available for the DJ41 face which may be available later. I think I will have more than 2 Rolexes and the next one for sure will be a DJ41. Hope that makes sense. Thx for everyone's replies and will let you know when I get the watch!

Absolutely the right choice. Always buy with your heart.
I’ve made some poor watch purchases in the past as I’ve bought on head rather than heart.

I’ve had a white dial SS Daytona, SD, SubC, old LV and they’ve not been right for me. The BLNR is a watch I will never get rid of and every time I look at it I just love it.

I also recommend as time goes on to look also at the older GMT models too, so much charm and absolute classics. I have a 2000 year mint GMT2 Pepsi and it’s also stunning in my opinion.

Congrats on your deck on on BLNR..... now go go go and find one
