I think you should go for it. Having a 5 and 6 digit is a great combo. If you keep the blnr, why not pick up a 5 digit sub instead of the gmt?

1. Not having a full set may bother you. I know it would bother me, so I'd save until you can flip for a full set.
2. A lot of 6 digit owners, especially people who've only owned 6 digits, really struggle to adapt to the 5 digit bracelet. I personally prefer it, both for its styling and comfort, but to you it may be a deal breaker. You should absolutely try one on in person before making a move.
3. The 5 digits wear smaller and have a more "vintage" look to them. Since you only own 6 digit models now, you may find that the 5 digit looks a bit dated. Once again, photos only do so much, you need to see it in person.
4. You're now going to have 2 GMT sport watches in your collection. Are you okay with this? What about a 16610LV. A Bit of colour and it's not a GMT!

I firmly say yes because I prefer the styling and feel of the 5 digits. But you may not feel the same way.

Good luck!

Excellent, well reasoned advice and I agree on all points.

^^^ That's what I would do.
