Where did all the Romans go on the Datejust?

So i have been out of the loop for a while now. I went to my local AD to check out some of the Datejusts with Roman numerals and found out there is only one in the current lineup. On a positive note they still have 2 in stock they have offered at a good price. One all steel for $6,000 116300BKRIO and the steel with fluted bezel for $8,000 116334BKRIO. Any thoughts on either?

They weren't able to make them BIG enough without looking truly ridiculous.

who knows?

maybe because people think they're old fashioned or nobody knows what a roman numeral is today, of just that people hate Rome?

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

Good point. I think the Romans are really cool. Cartier pushes them to the rich. Rolex, I think, is going after the athletes. I own a Roman!!

My Cartier looks good with them but I don't like them on Rolex.

The DJs have all gone for a "Roman Holiday" , get it ? Movie starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck ? The Wimbledon DateJust with the Federer dial is my favourite DJ and a pre owned up for sale in the local ADs is quite a rare sight. For example, a preowned 2015 DJ2 model is popular here and still fetches a value of about ~US $1K lower than the retail price of a Brand New. Pretty impressive for a Two Tone, isn't it ?
