I have for sale a 2008 Rolex Daytona Cosmograph, model # 116520, V Serial, in black dial.

About This Watch:

This watch has been a daily wearer since it was purchased new from a west coast Rolex AD in 2008. As you can see from the pictures, this was indeed a genuine daily driver, nearly every single day for nine years. As such, there are swirls about the bracelet, clasp and bezel, as well as a few actual scratches/nicks. The watch has not been polished at all. I've done my best to capture the swirls/scratches/nicks with the pictures below. WYSISYG!

And Who The Hell Am I?

I am admittedly a new TRF'er but a long time WIS looking to sell a couple of watches in order to get into my new dream watch, the new DaytonaC (in black dial). I will be available over the weekend and early next week, in Los Angeles or Orange Counties, to complete a face to face transaction (glad to meet at a Rolex AD for authentication/safety/etc. Alternatively, I am glad to arrange for a more conventional, insured overnight delivery, complete with bill of sale/contract and guarantee of authenticity. As a person who's made my career in sales, I understand how important buyer/seller trust is and am willing to work extra hard to ensure that you are comfortable with the transaction (and me) in every way.

Okay, So If I Choose To Trust You, How Much Am I Paying For This Daytona?

Again, I'm just a watch guy looking to sell at a fair market price in consideration of the watch and its condition. I am asking $13,500 (to include insured overnight shipping as noted above). I am open to offers. Given that many people appreciate that PayPal can provide an extra layer of protection, and given that I'm not a known commodity here on the boards (yet), I'm happy to facilitate a PayPal payment without the (usual) additional 3% fees (in other words, I can cover the additional PayPal fees as part of the transaction).

I have a couple of other Rolexes that I may be listing over the next couple of days, but I'm starting simply with this one for now...I guess a bit of a trial balloon of sorts. I am limiting the availability to the continental US for now. Also, no trades on this one (sorry).

If you are in SoCal, have a look at the watch in person and judge the condition for yourself; I'm likely overstating its flaws but just want to be sure here. This is a potentially great deal on a 116600!
