Yes, dial color is darker on older watches but they do not have the haute text.

I wouldn't be fussed if its a m or v series. Makes no real difference, unless one day you was hoping to pass it on to your son and you wanted the serial to be his birth year.... then its a different story.

Using history as a judge, V will not be the last serial IF a new TT Sub is released.

Had a call from my AD today. The decision has been taken out of my hands in that Rolex cannot supply a V serial in the UK for at least a couple of months. I suppose that they must have a stock of M serials at HQ that they need to shift first!
Looks like I am going to see my new M serial some time over the weekend.
