Keith Jackson - RIP

To those of us who watched college football in the 80s & 90s will remember Keith Jackson. I always loved hearing his voice during Rose Bowl games and any big Michigan game that he would call on Saturdays. RIP Mr. Jackson, you will be missed.

Couldn't agree more. A great life, and many great memories of him calling big games.

Was watching a game he was calling one time, when there was a long throw to a wide open receiver. Jackson makes the call: ". . . . he is wide open, and DROPS THE FOOTBALL . . . . . and six points went a waistin'. "

Great voice, great play by play announcer and has been missed ever since he retired, which BTW was a great thing even if he was missed! He walked away from a lot of money just to be with his family for the last 12 years of his life, class act!! RIP Kieth Jackson!!

My favorite was one game the runner with the ball completely jukes a would be tackler. Jackson says: “He left him standing there holding a whole lot of Nothing!”
