116500LN White dial on Oysterflex

Just thought I would share for reference.

Thanks to Chadridv for the inspiration, Smartyjones18 for the end links and an incredibly patient AD for the trail and error sizing of the Oysterflex bracelet.

Hope this works.

116500LN White dial on Oysterflex

I think the look is terrific. I tried an oysterflex on a Daytona of mine that I had a year ago but didn’t like the feel one bit. Could’ve been bad sizing on my part but the narrow elastomer strips underneath felt odd to me.

interesting. I find that to be imperceptible. However, I find the strap as a whole to be extremely comfortable.

It’s probably my habit of wearing watches very loose - below the wristbone so it felt like “see-sawing”. I tried the RG YM too on the OysterFlex and it felt the same. From the pictures it looks like you are wearing it with proper fit and that has a lot to do with comfort.

Very cool looking. How to source this strap ? Do Rolex sell them normally? Also how to size it? Does it involve cutting it to fit or?

Looking good. I love the Oysterflex on my Sub. Actually on there today. I never thought of the end links. There is a small gap but it’s very small. I wonder what it would look like with end links?

That's a great look! I have spoken to Chad about it, who I think was the first or one of the first to do it. I think it looks "legit" to me because those beautiful WG Daytonas comes in OF now?.?.?.? I don't know. It just looks good.

The AD who isn't calling my name on the 500D also says you can't order OF unless you have a watch that came with OF.

So I guess you need a better relationship with an AD than I have!

Yes the 2017 Gold Daytona’s do come that way...per the website:

OYSTERFLEX BRACELET AND
SAFETY CLASP

The new Cosmograph Daytona versions are fitted on an Oysterflex bracelet, developed and patented by Rolex.

Here’s one example, the others are at Rolex.com

Looks AMAZING! Congrats, OP, I think you're the first white dial with Oysterflex?

As mentioned, you must have one hell of a good relationship with your AD. I'm trying like mad to get the OF straps I need and "the struggle is real"

Have you worn that combo in the water yet? I mean, you are in Jamaica!
