Compass on Submariner band?
Hello,
I was wearing a Tissot T-Touch Expert up until recently when the bezel disappeared. Not sure what happened to it, just noticed it was gone one night. Anyway, sent it in, hoping to get it warrantied since I never banged it. While it’s in service, I’ve been wearing my 50th Sub. regularly. I love wearing a Rolex, but I love having a Compass on my watch, like the one on the Tissot. I do use the compass frequently. I didn’t wear the Rolex as much because I was afraid I’d bang it up or something. I decided to purchase a wrist (sweat) band and when I’m working on something physical or mechanical I put the wrist band over the watch. I still don’t wear the Rolex when riding the dirt bike. Does anybody have a compass on their Oyster bracelet? I have a couple, but they are too thing to fit the bracelet.

You could use the bezel and hands of the watch as a compass... provided you can see the sun... don't have the link to the instructions but I'm sure someone will chime in.

That sounds very interesting...I'll look into it.
I would prefer to have an actual compass because the sun is not always out and I sometimes need it during the evening.

Yeah, I saw the Breitling one on the band. I don't want to change the band out.

I use a Suunto Clipper on my Sub, it is a high quality 3-zone compass.
Very practical when I am of the beaten tracks. You just clip it on and off you go.

I have the same compass, but it does not fit...it's a little to thin. Maybe I'll just file the inside of it. Thanks.

I have a Tissot and yes the TTouch does seem to give quite a bang for
its buck BUT I have been through 5 (yes 5) of them in 1 year! Seems the touch function is an issue with them as I have ready of quite a few other people whove gone through multiples. Its nice as its under warranty BUT when I asked Tissot the price after its out of warranty its a few hundred dollars (as much as the watch)
