Real or fake?
Hi everyone. I’m sorry, I don’t know much about Rolex, but I was wondering id this piece is real or fake. I have a very real looking certificate but I don’t know of this is the actual watch it came with. Thank you in advance for your help.

Take the caseback off, is the only way to be 100% confident.

The certificate will have a serial number and between the lugs at 6 oclock should be same serial number
I suspect watch is genuine, but movement photo can confirm or deny A

They did it on ladies pieces (i think 60s - I have the exact date if you need it) to cover the registered design

Going by the sticker on the certificate it is not for that watch. It might however be interesting or valuable in itself, it looks like it says 1665?

Paperwork is for a completely different watch... looks to be a vintage piece from about the 60s... the watch looks like its a 6917 nonquick model based on the datewheel, case, and endlinks... that dial would either be aftermarket or from a later model... very hard to tell from the pics
