It is not a Panerai, it is probably a Marina Militaire or something.
They cost $100-$150 , asian made, similar to Panerai designs but not fakes, just very similar ![]()

Homage Watch is getting very popular here in Asia. Not only Panerai but also U Boat and B&R. I understand that people do not call it FAKE, when they do not put the brand Panerai on the watch they are not making fake Panerai. But isn't copying a design is still a copying?

For me an Homage is a remake of a previous historic model that is NO LONGER MADE!!!!!
It doesn't have any indicators of Panerai or Rolex on it, but closely resemble the original made my Rolex or Panerai. For me, --the Alpha Paul Newman Daytona come to mind --the MKII Steve McQueen Explorer come to mind --the Retrospect Watch Company EGIZIANO and 1938a All of these replica's that are use the Panerai locking clasp on the Luminor's are basically breaking the law. This is patented by Panerai, but in China, the laws are not recognized. That is why most are from there

imo: this auction for PAM212 is not a homage watch. I've seen this exact Fake/Rep on the various sites with the clear rip-off of Logo and brand name on the dial.
So just because the criminal removes the name off the dial and thinks he's home-free from EBAY selling these "drop-shipped" items from the Far East, doesn't sit well with me. He clearly has never even seen this piece as expressed by his Q&A answer. Quote:
![]() Hence, he is taking orders then requesting the item to be sent to the Winning bidder's address (Drop shipped) technique used by almost all Fake Watch sites. |

Homage is just a euphemism for fakes!!
No matter how they try to put it, it is simply fake and a total disrespect for patents and the law!

Yeah, i think Panerai is one brand that you shouldn't complain too much about 'homages'.
