As a recent first time purchaser...I have to agree that the sub is a great choice and was a real toss up for me when I made my decision. The only downside to the sub is that the black sub is almost too common ..since it has been made for nearly 50 years and changed very little. It also seems to be the one Rolex that is "faked" the most.

I went with the TT YM just to change it up a little....although a sub is still on my wishlist...i'm looking for a TT blue/blue sub....well i'm more like dreaming than looking.

Great advice. I almost followed it exactly, but decided to go with the Sub No Date instead.
