Yeah it wasn't cheap, but Irish is my favorite expression of whiskey so I wasn't going to be denied. I could easily have bought a watch or two with the money I spent so don't be too jealous!

And don't put a curse on me if you you are the son of Beelzebub see your post count below

Friend came over for dinner last night and brought a bottle of Aberlour 12yrs. First time trying it and I must say I quite liked it, very enjoyable and reasonably priced, would get again

Nice pick ups, been wanting to try the GTS for a while now but can't find it around me so easily or priced ridiculously high. Enjoy yours in good health

You take the best pictures and your Bourbon range is super wide. Can we get a group shot of your Bourbon collection?

Yes please, would be interesting to see what your collection looks like. It was because of you that got me curious in the orphan barrel and I'm currently looking at their varieties to pick up a bottle or two

This week was a busy week for me as well, picked up a bottle of Booker's, Blood Oath #4 and Blanton's.

I guess today is my lucky day, going back to work from my lunch break I decided to spot by a liquor store I've never been to before. Imagine my surprise when I saw 3 bottles of Blanton's Bourbon at $60 a bottle. Well needless to say, they now have 0 bottles in stock Will be enjoying one tonight, pics to follow

Blanton’s is solid. I always have a couple of bottles on hand. You should try Rock Hill Farms if you can find it. Very similar mash build.

Hey Mark,
Yep I hear ya, always a solid choice that's why I grabbed all 3 bottles by me it's either always sold out or the places that have it charge $150 + for a bottle so when I saw it retail at $60 I was all over it.

Will give rock hill farms a try if I can find it, thanks for the suggestion

I usually buy a bottle at total wine when they get some. They sell it at true retail (around $60), but it’s 1 per person. Right now I have one pretty full bottle and one unopened.

Picked up some Eagle Rare and a Four Roses Single Barrel today. Already cracked the E.R. and can hopefully find time to open the F.R. this weekend...
