Rolex and Craigslist

This has to set some record for a Rolex being offered on CL

That's worth $350,000 at the most. I'd keep shopping around.

Sellers will do anything to avoid the 10% ebay and 3% PayPal fees.

One word for buying a Rolex on Craig's List. DON"T!!!!

Only one time I tried to buy a watch on Craigslist I got royally screwed. Too much risk with purchasing a fake or encountering other rip-offs!!! Again, DON'T!!!!

I seem to remember folks searching for the holy grail of something or other and their faces melted...hope this isn't a similar situation.

Haha!

On a serious note, my dad got a new one of these every few years when I was a kid, always giving me the old ones. I only had like 5 phone numbers to program in at that age but still did it and used the watch senselessly for all its functionality.

Thanks for that stroll down memory lane!!

As long as you do due diligence (references, tagged photos, scan of drivers licence etc) the risk can lead to great reward.
I managed to snag a 16710 on Gumtree (Australia’s version of Craigslist) a couple of years ago for half price
