Yes there has been a few reports on forum when serviced by RSC original pointed 4 bezel font when returned had a flat four bezel font.

When the owners get more profit than Rolex so is it easy for them to start produce new flat 4´s to destroy the market.

I have seen two but think they was only supplied along with a full service

Haywood M showed one he had fitted and I see one in person at Watches of Switzerland Brighton a few months ago .

I doubt very much you can just walk into St James and ask can I swap out my insert for a flat four . But you could try the I lost my bezel , Take the bezel off and tuck it away then go in with the watch and buy a insert and bezel under £200

Here's Haywood's thread: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=628695

If Rolex starts installing flat fours as service replacements—even on watches with pointed inserts—RSCs will be overwhelmed with 16610LV service work.

If Rolex were to replace a non Flat 4 entitled LV with a Flat 4 Bezel that would make it inappropriate. I don’t want to go so far as to call it a “Franken” but I would not want it. How is it going to increase the value of say my “M” or “V” if they put a Flat 4 on it at service. Would be making my LV not time appropriate to me.

I did have the bezel on my M replaced a few years ago at service and it was a non flat 4. Perfect.
