Life is about balance too, maybe think about philanthropy if you really want to spend some money. If you already donate then why not!

It won’t quench the thirst. But I understand where you’re coming from.

If you're feeling it, I say go for it. I have a new outlook that it's a one in, one out policy though. I'm not looking to have more and more watches, just the ones I really enjoy.

I could use a donation ...
For another watch that is... Philanthropy at it's best.

Just one more... Haven't I said this before? This is a clear indication of why this "watch collecting hobby" can be so addictive. Often, I find that the wanting desire is a lot stronger than the having. When I remind myself of this, it kind of quenches my thirst at least for a while. I am waiting to possibly add a DJ41. In the meantime, this is my latest acqusition to keep me satisfied until I get the call for the DJ, if I decide to pull the trigger. For now I am happy :-) .

That’s the sign of a true watch enthusiast... quenching thirst with a Casio G Shock. I was thinking of quenching my thirst with a Seiko 5, Braun classic, G Shock, or Swatch Jelly Piano (which are very hard to find unfortunately). Beats paying four thousand to scratch an itch while on a waiting list to pay over double that. I have also been looking into micro brands, but none have done it for me so far.

When faced with difficult decisions such as yours I always find the answers I seek in my Magic 8 Ball.

I've asked the question on your behalf:

I’m going to go with, no.

I once subscribed to the “just one more” philosophy. But many of those “one more” watches are the ones I no longer wear. Those “one more” watches did not make me any happier; in fact, I wish I did not make the purchases.

So, unless it is a watch you definitely want, know you will wear, and is a “keeper” why not save your money or put it towards another cause.

My 2 cents.
