The mrs. and her air king

She's rather enjoying herself with this piece.

Looks great, much better than the small 1950’s sized watches.

Thanks! This is about as big as she can go though; her wrists are tiny and she weighs about 100 pounds. Some might even think this is too big on her, but I personally love it, and what matters is that she loves it too.

I love when women wear larger luxury sport watches like this. It’s still pretty rare to see though. Looks great on her!

It's the 14010 with blue dial, arabics at the 3/6/9.

We bought it pre-owned 2 years ago with box and papers at $2350 from a brick and mortar. Even these little guys have gone a bit on the market; it's absurd.

I absolutely love seeing women wear men's watch. It shows confidence!
Thank you for sharing.

I've tried and tried to convince my girl to consider a sports option but it doesn't look like it is going to happen. She wears her mom's old 28mm Datejust with diamond bezel/markers and a gorgeous blue dial. When the time comes for me to buy her one, it looks like I'm going to have to go with a 31mm Datejust.

Doesn't like the Daytona, Explorer, Air King, and I think the 36mm Datejust would be too big for her liking as she has very slender wrists. She has worn my Sub but it looks ridiculous on her.

The price of having very feminine tastes I guess. I told her that the only way we ever buy a ladies datejust from an AD is if it is coming with a guarantee of a hard to get sports model. Absolutely no point in taking that depreciation hit without offsetting it.

The 14010 seen here is 34 mm, which was billed as a men's watch. I would say that if my petite wife with her tiny wrists can pull this off, I'm sure yours can too!

There's definitely no way that my wife could pull off a 36 though...funny how 2 mm's can make all the difference.
