Someone’s probably mentioned it already but the cyclops can be easily removed if you don’t like it.

Putting an order in for the no date sub after the weekend, I really like the look of it without the date function and much prefer the cyclops on other Rolex watches rather than this one.

A few things won me over on the Submariner (no date as you call it):
- Dial symmetry - Wrist fit - it does wear less tall on the wrist than the Submariner date I ultimately went with a 5 digit Submariner for the reasons listed above PLUS: - Lug holes - Hollow end links - Case size With out the solid endlinks, the watch just seems to wrap so nicely around my wrist. The true height is the actual lug-lug measurement 47.5. It just was a better fit for me. Plus there is something about hearing that hollow end link rattle when you move your wrist that takes me back to my first Rolex 15210. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No date. The sub 114060 is so symmetrically pleasing its 100% my perfect watch and gets 90% of my wrist time over my hulk, batman and Pepsi by quite some margin. (Sorry can’t be arsed finding correct model numbers - my bad)
That said if it was my only watch I’d probably go sub date

My other Rolex watches have the date function. So it was refreshing to get the beautiful, flat, and closest to the original, no date.

I vote Sub Date. It’s the quintessential Rolex in my humble opinion.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the Sub and had a 14060M, but I LOVE my 16610. |

I prefer and own the Sub date. One more function makes for a more useful watch.
