Yes, I think you may be right, I would not be surprised if a Maxi case, Maxi dial Cellini is rolled out next week

In all seriousness, I am curious what they have up their sleeve this year. My prediction is a WG Coke and a Platinum Sub . I base this on ZERO information and am most likely wrong but a guy can hope.

Wow....that is a lot of very specific information. If he is right I will be super impressed with his Rolex connections, and super surprised that Rolex would give that information to an AD a week advance.

I'm catching the TGV across from Paris and connecting through to Basel to visit Baselworld. Some speculate that this may be last one. I'll post anything that looks interesting althoughI suspect that members here have that well covered.

That'd be beautiful. But at this point I'm thinking Tudor is more likely to release a ToG.

Absolutely one can hope.

I'm glad you poked your head in here. You remember last year how reports of ADs not being able to order the black-dial WG BLRO kept coming in until they reached a point where it was all but confirmed the model was gone? I believe you may have been the first to offer such a report. Are you aware of such a "flood" of disco reports this year with the BLNR? I haven't seen anything like last year, or the year before with the SD4K, so I keep wondering why people say the BLNR disco is confirmed. What do you know about it?

Can you imagine what it would be like if the Maxi case "WAS" popular with the majority of people.

I would have to be happy with just having a picture of one hanging on my wall

To be taken with a grain of salt but that is what I was told.
I guess we have an “AD Said” winner.
This one was a correct prediction as far as new releases based on teaser on Rolex site.

Howdy,

The only watch my AD said they could not order was the blue dial white gold BLRO. Furthermore, BLNR incomings are still occurring with new stock.

I struggle with believing the BLNR or Hulk are discontinued as it makes no business sense. Furthermore, Rolex seems to use new models as a way to introduce price increases like what they did with the new Pepsi.

My guess is they are more likely to slow roll the new movements, in tandem with price increases, while still continuing to produce models that are exceedingly popular like the Batman.

So, my worthless prediction is that neither model gets discontinued but Rolex does add another new color option to the GMT line and possibly a new color model with a new movement to the Sub line.

Take care,

Ruddiger

PS-I also predict a Browns Super Bowl

AD's knowledge, if it is not a makeup and truly from AD, is just as good as anyone's guess. Time and time again

i was at an AD event last night. The director said "nothing groundbreaking this year" like he knew something. I doubt he knows so i left it at that.

I'd like to think you turned around and ghosted him!

Sadly their idea of "nothing groundbreaking" is not what the average WIS thinks....

I'm thinking such small changes as red writing/roulette date/stick dials etc., - seems to excite enough!

I have come to the conclusion that a lot of AD employees get their information reading this site.
Not the other way round.

I wonder which part of this "school" focused on fake price increases and bundling as a means to sell?
