I agree with OP on all points except the BLNR price drop. I think the fact that they are discontinuing the oyster BLNR will make the gray market and used prices climb. Since there are no more going into circulation, people who prefer/demand the oyster over the jubilee will be at the mercy of the supply.
Although I might be biased because I have one. |

And when the youngsters start buying 36s again, you will stay with the larger watches. That is just human nature. During our 30s-50s we tend to find a style we like and keep to it for the rest of our life. I suppose there are some 70 year olds that work at looking hip but they are a bit of a caricature. Find your style and stick with it. Today that is a larger watch.
Hip huggers were in in the 70's and came back in for a bit 30 years later. Watches will do the same. Now I am waiting for you youngsters to start wearing platform shoes and NikNik shirts. |
