Vintage Date 1974-75
Newly acquired ref 15007 from 1974-75. The case and bracelet are 18 k, diameter is 34mm. Movement is a 3035. It has all boxes, booklet, service booklet, polishing cloth.

It’s a fine example of why never to buy 18k gold. It gets mashed.

Now that's a real Rolex ...
Styling that was great 40 plus years back and still looks great today
The reliabity of the (new at the time) Rolex 3035 movement
That great movement protected from the elements by a handsome 14k case

Oh, . . . I DO so wish that I had started 2 or 3 decades ago. I can only imagine at how nice the "club" would have been. But really, despite a few harsh comments at times by posters who forget that they're talking to other real people who are just trying to share their new toy with their (virtual) friends, . . by and large most of our TRF'ers are extraordinary folks, and very supportive!

I, at least, salute the vast majority of TRF, and am proud to be a part of it.

And, BTW . . . I think that's a really nice old DJ, too! (But it's gonna have to be 20 years older for me to call it a "birth year watch" !!
