Ceramic SS Daytona true diameter?
Can someone confirm the actual diameter of the SS ceramic Daytona (ideally with calipers)?
I have the non-ceramic SS and I think it’s 38.6mm. I heard the new SS ceramic runs larger. Is it truly 40mm? |

Pretty sure the case has not changed, only the ceramic bezel appears more substantial and makes for more presence on the wrist.

Are you measuring the case or the bezel? The case should be measured from 10 o’clock to 4 o’clock. - Sent via iPhone. Please excuse any typos or brevity in my message

It's definitely not 40mm. I had a debate with one of the guys at my local AD about this. This is a case of Rolex sticking to the classic proportions but marketing it to still appeal to men.
There is a reason it is so popular with women. It's not a big watch. |

It has been known that the SS Daytona is not 40mm... probably why I love it so much.
Please note that the 18k models do wear a bit large as they have bigger lugs. Maybe another .5-1mm bigger! |

True but not all PM's , YG cases on bracelet are the same size as SS aprox 38.6mm, WG and all PM on Oyster flex are a bit bigger with different case and wider lugs.

not mine... i copied it from another thread
![]() it comes up from time to time, and i find it interesting. Its not immediately obvious unless you own several different daytonas or try them on side by side, and then you can tell. absolutely
