Latest Addition The Fuji X-100S makes amazing bokeh photos. For photographic junkies, this is taken at f/2.8 aperture priority.

Icon17 My AP Diverssssss

Here's my SS Diver before I traded it off for the FC Diver....

After longing for the FC Diver, I chanced upon a IWC Aquatiner with a Black & Yellow combo as well. So, here's a twin shot....

Here's a shot of it with the black & yellow croc strap...

Love the diver. I hope to get one as my next watch (hopefully within the next year if everything works out). I think it'll compliment my DJII well.

I noticed that the inner bezel ring with the numbers looks different on the SS v. FC. The FC inner bezel ring looks like the number are bigger and more square. Are they supposed to be bigger on FC or is that my imagination?

Your pictures of super clean Divers motivated me to send mine in to APSC for a complete overhaul. My AP Diver was purchased pre-owned and came with some imperfections. Over time, I added more to the case so I've decided to get it all cleaned up now as the 4-6 year service interval approached.

Does anyone know why the mega tapasserie dial is different in the SS/FC version vs. all Ceramic? On SS/FC Divers, the dial has engine turning work done to it (like the RO's) whereas the Ceramic version does not (more like the 42MM and 44MM ROO's.)

If you scroll up you will see a ton of SS/FC Divers and their dials. Notice the fine lines (engine turning) in addition to the waffle squares? If you go the previous page and look at the Ceramic Diver, you don't see the fine lines, only the waffle squares.

I think the engine turned dials look more organic and adds extra layer of texture whereas the non-engine turned dials look cleaner but more sterile.

I have both the SS Diver and the 44MM Novelty (which has the cleaner but more sterile dial.)
