Gerardo you are an inspiration to all I am back cooking, the other night I did salmon burgers with Tzatziki (tasted better than this picture LOL), lots of yummy ingredients minced salmon, with bread crumbs, mint, fennel, shallots etc..... And the much loved rib eye and baked vegetables in spices.

...Our friends/neighbors next door hosted a Big birthday party for my Mrs upcoming 'Big Birthday' yesterday.. 55 friends passed through during the day..!
My Mrs had a Blast...!!

Center cut chops rubbed with a sesame oil/chili paste/orange zest blend.

Place on top of brown rice noodle stir fry.

I had a surgery last night and this is what I was served at the hospital. Steamed veggies, rice and a veg curry with corn and carrot soup. I know it's not much compared to the feast laid out at you guys' end :)

Dinner tonight, grilled Balmain Bugs (think like a more flavoursome lobster for those outside of Sydney) done in a honey, butter, dill, garlic and wholegrain mustard reduced sauce. Crusty bread with plenty of butter and a stunning Hunter Valley Verdelho wine, perfectly matched to the dish.

Had to cook the wife a nice dinner after she raced today raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society today. She finished 4th and is up to $1035 out of her $6000 goal for the year and rode hard today - very proud of her.


Did reverse seared steaks to celebrate.
