just one more photo of the ExpI. She's rather scuffed up - not sure how that happened so uniformly with the previous owner, but crystal is perfect and everything else is simply superficial easily polished out scratches, except for a ding on the bezel. Will get lightly polished on the sides and probably call it a day. Might eventually just replace the bezel.

30, Emergency Room RN, currently have a 114060 No Date Submariner, previously had a 16570 Polar Explorer II but sadly sold it a couple of years ago. It was my first Rolex and really miss that watch.

I'm in Houston too. I own a barbershop in River Oaks. And I have a GMT-II Ceramic, all black bezel. Good to see another Texan, especially Houstonian here!

No matter, nice watch!

Haha no it's a satirical take on how my days can go sometimes in my profession. I plan, execute and manage federal procurement contracts for goods and services of a higher dollar value (6-10 figures) and I had a particularly tough day when I wrote the post.

I am often the intermediary between a unhappy government client (read department) on whose behalf I awarded a contract and the supplier who is quite often just as happy as the client. When things go smoothly (they unfortunately rarely do) its glorified contract drafting, but when it rains, it pours!

Cheers. :)

The name's Bond, James Bond. I 'work' for the UK Government. When I'm alone I always wear Rolex, but I'm forced by my employer to wear Omega, they've signed some sort of clandestine agreement, I think it's blackmail but can't say too much 😃
