Said the current waiting list was as follows for VCO (4500v) assuming you put your name on the list today - Silver - 1 - 2 years - Black - 2 - 5 years - Blue - 5 years+ Guy told me the watch market was "softening" but "demand for watches at the 20k+ level isn't changing - maybe for the 5k - 10k." Said all the watches being allocated are being sold (other sources have told me this is not true) I looked at him dead in the eye and tried not to laugh. hopefully, we can buy blue dial at retail from the boutique soon. |

They should realize they are generally selling to intelligent people if the people have $ to spend on a watch. We are capable of a 30 second Google search. |

Lol @ 5 year wait for blue 4500v when you can get it at or near retail on moda. 4500v bandwagoned off the RO and Nautilus hype. No one ever really considered the overseas to be on the same level as the other 2 except those trying to hype up the value to flip them

Has anyone ever used LoupeThis or other auctions? Was talking to a seller and he said there are platforms to sell where seller pays no fees. Wonder what he was referring to
Also, how much do you think a fully stickered 15500 would go for?

I believe Loupethis charges $500 for seller and 10% for buyer. I haven't bought or purchased there before but did bid on something when they just launched. |

There is watchcollecting.com who are free of charge for the seller and charge the buyer instead (around 6% depending on location / taxes). I have no personal experience but there was an interesting post by LJubel328 on page 125 of this very thread.

Wouldn’t even do 37.5k. Lol markets just gotten worse. I don’t think it’s moving at that price. They’re sitting on chrono and steadily going down.

Lot of dealers are trying the “increase the price” trick on watches that have been sitting. Anyone that pays attention daily or even weekly knows what is up. I guess they are trying to rope in suckers? That being said one TS on here slashed a lot of his prices this week closer to reality. These guys are being squeezed out slowly by the markets.

Covered in watch shells. I'd want to see how the rose / copper oxidation differences has played out before buying.

Let there be a hypothetical 5y wait-list from people who registered 2y ago during the hype and that's what the system tells them.
Watch what happens when a 4500 blue becomes available at MSRP and the boutique starts calling people when the grey price is the same or lower and folks would immediately be underwater by 5-7k. That list is gonna shrink real quick or people decide "it may just not be the good time RIGHT NOW" |

That was exactly my experience with my 26315 that I wore regularly for 2 years. If you are semi careful, it is not as much of a scratch magnet as people make it out to be

definitely thought it'd be a lot worse based on all the scratch magnet comments. seems like a huge exaggeration mostly from people that haven't owned them

same here. still have it and think it'll stay. I'd honestly go for a 15300 over a jumbo / I don't personally like the lack of quick set or seconds hand despite the history behind the 15202. That being said - the proportions of the 15450 are nice / good fit for my wrists. 39mm would work well too tho. But don't think it's worth putting out extra cash for the marginal increase in size. |
