This ALS is the one for me--just amazing (and yes a Minute Repeater)
For the first time ever in a mechanical watch, the ZEITWERK MINUTE REPEATER brings together a jumping numerals display with a decimal minute repeater. The acoustic time indication consists of a low-pitched tone for each elapsed hour, a double tone for each elapsed ten-minute period, and a high-pitched tone for each elapsed minute. Thus, the time as sounded corresponds exactly to the time as displayed. |

This is the ALS thread, just giving my opinion of what I would like (granted 440,000 euro :-). They all rock in my book. I love your watch Ken--and agree with your striking comment without question. |

I know I just didn't want you to think my mention of Striking Time referenced this one. I was referencing the plain ST which is to me a bit gimmicky as not a MP like one you showed. All do rock for sure!!

Too big I fear Ben. Shame as it's an amazing watch, although not quite as amazing as the Platinum 1815 Perpetual Rattrapante DavidSW has in stock!!

Very hard to tell from that angle. Only real way is looking top down. For me with 7.5 inch flat wrist I have almost 3/4 of an inch on each side top and bottom when looking down maybe even more. Wrist shots are tough to gauge in photos. How does it look when your wrist is normal or looking down on it? How does it feel?

For me DS and 5970R equals perfection! The Dato Perp is nice but the 5970R is heavenly!

I agree and think you will be fine especially as you are wearing larger watches.
