I had the opportunity to try on the 27-03 today. Granted the colors are a bit much, but it’s by far the best watch I’ve ever seen.

Similarly, the airbus- a watch everyone claims is ugly etc, was absolutely unreal.

RM knows what they are doing

If you were to buy an RM tour, which one would you pick 50 03 or 53 01?

The 53 is my favorite RM ever. It exhibits every characteristic I could ever find desirable in a watch, and is also in my favorite color.

That’s the one I would pick. I’m sure it will be a year till they start arriving, but i could see myself giving up almost everything in my current collection to have this watch and three pieces total.

Thanks John for the feedback. I'm thinking about making a move here soon but can't decide between the two. I have to sell my left kidney to help fund the watch. I'll be done with RM watches if I get one of these.

Sounds like we are in the exact same spot. For the right piece thoigh, it might be totally worth it. Shut out all the noise and be done.

Both are amazing, however the 53-01 would be my choice also. Always been a sucker for blue accents and that movement is mesmerising

I haven't seen the 53 01 yet. I tried on the 50 03 and contemplated for hours at the store. It looks 10x better in person. My heart is telling me to buy it now but my brain is telling me to wait until I see the 53 01. RM split second tourbillon is out of this world.

Based only in the pictures and the information I read online about both I would definitely choose the 53-01

My one concern about the 50 is the edition size.

I believe it is 150 pieces? Correct me if I am wrong, but that is a LOT of money for a very large edition IMO.
