Phew, that was close...I almost had to get my magic beads out and say a little prayer to restore balance to the universe.

We had a Fed Ex delivery today. Claire's new straightening irons (It's mother's dy in the UK on Sunday) I've gonme with an American brand that has pretty good reviews as I'm sick of spending £150 a time on GHD straighteners that blow up a week after their warranty period.

Today is a good delivery day for wives and mothers....long may it continue!

Yeah. Normally I'd say it was an awful syrupy chocolate box picture of a London that only exists in the minds of the elitist, wealthy London establishment.

It is how the Luvvie london arts set would like American's to see the UK.

However, in light of current events...it seems poignant now seeing as Liam Neeson plays a guy bringing up a child following his wife's death!

This is really sad. I watched the first 20 minutes the other day, and Liam Neeson plays a dad who just lost his beautiful, blond wife - there is a funeral scene and all. Just sad.

Biting my Tongue

Ok............this was just one of those moments that made me cringe. We need some reno work done on the outside of the house and this afternoon we had a contractor come to assess the work needed and to give us a quote. After a long discussion outside with Al, the guy comes into the house, and says..."Hello M'am. I thought it would be good if you listen to this stuff, even though all the technical stuff won't make any sense to you.".....................

Aaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!

I left for a while and came back. Things are loading much faster now. I was starting to think I would never get back on! So now, Phoebe's in the tub enjoying a rare bubblebath, June's watching a Spongebob DVD and Violet's goofing around in June's room, getting into her stuff. Business as usual!

Nancy, as far as a Top Five - that would be tough, except for those obvious few who know who they are! Could we do a Top Ten?
