I also took over the conversation when it came to the "money talk" and by the time I was finished, he was willing to come down about a thousand dollars, AND offered us the opportunity to divide the payments over a year.

We have a second person coming today so we can get a comparison quote.

All those bulbs sound great, you can have colors and flowers all season long by planting the right plants. The Zone (Hardiness) you live in what is the Average Annual Minimum Temperature? I live outside of Chicago and our Zone is -20F to -10F( Zone 5 or 4) . The reason I ask is two different maps of the zones can be used and they differ slightly!!!
As for the Tulips, either dig them up and out or do not allow the foliage above ground to live. The tulips use their foliage to generate and store energy for the next year!!!

Jim, sorry you feel bad. Do you get this type of headache often? Is the pain behind one eye? Dave was diagnosed with cluster headache when he was in college and has had to take serious meds in all sorts of combinations ever since. The hallmark of his type of headache was a "boring" severe pain behind one eye. It's a little different than the classic migraine, in that it usually doesn't cause nausea.

Do you get these regularly? Has a neurologist checked them out?

I too get migraine headaches but they happen sporadically. Sometimes they come do to seasonal changes and sometimes from my sinus problems. I take Imitrex and also Fioricet for them. They occur above my left eye and sometimes I get a stiff neck!!! Definitely not fun and wouldn't wish them on anyone!!!

I mostly get migraines...not clusters.

I have just gotten over a "cough" headache which lasted about 5 weeks, it drove me crazy.

This one today is a mixture of tiredness and low sugar!!!!!

Awwwww.....[HUG]............I can relate. I used to get migraines.....twice a week for 30 years! Spent a LOT of time lying on my bathroom floor with my forehead wedged against the base of the cold toilet tank.

The "cough" headache is nasty. I was off work for a week a short time ago with one of the worst coughs I'd ever had. Didn't sleep for about 4 days and thought my head was going to explode most of the time. I know exactly how you felt.

My headache is getting worse.

Sometimes I'm sure this forum has a detrimental effect on my physical and mental health.

I feel your pain Jim. Cluster headaches here, for last 20 yrs. Fortunately seem to be outgrowing them. Never tried hugging the toilet tank but have hugged the fridge many nights. Something about the cold and the vibration gives a little releif.

Feel better Jim

Sheesh - spend the day on a second grade field trip, and look at all the awesome topics that I miss. Darn those kids!

Let me condense it into:

1. I love you all dearly.

2. Jim. I hope your headache goes away.

3. Nancy, I'm glad that you gave that guy "what-for"

4. Oscar, hi!

5, Bill, that post was funnier than heck.

6. For anyone else I missed -- I'm sorry!!

p.s. - Lisa, point me to that thread, as I can't wade through them all!

Oh, it was Taffi's insipid sayings thread. It's still going strong!

Glad you're feeling better, Jim. I could tell you were hurting! And you may be happy to know that "Womanizer" has been going through my head all day, thanks to YOU and ASHLEY! "I know just what you ah-ah-are..."

Pure misery! But I deserve it! Waaahhhh!
