An other one bits the dust. Be careful there Lee, these things can get addictive. Nice watch, congratulations!
Sorry I missed your post earlier. Yes, I bit. Blame it on subliminal brain washing. It seemed like a nice price on a nice watch. The quartz movement is special.

Seiko has come out with a trove of divers recently and I am overwhelmed. That looks nice!

This and the 017 are the very best looking divers in my opinion. I like the aesthetics better than 4/5 digit Subs (and that says a lot for me). I made an offer on an 017 but no response from the seller. Maybe my offer was too low. Probably.

Thanks! Seiko's been killing it lately, especially with divers.

Agreed. It's hard to go wrong with either one. And, I'm 100% behind you on preferring the Seiko design over a 4/5 digit Sub. I'd easily extend that to 4/5/6 digits myself. Anyone can buy a Sub but when you see a Seiko diver you know they're an enthusiast.

I should have clarified... I don't care for the 6 digit sub case and bezel... but do love 4/5 digits.

Ahh, that makes more sense. I'd take an SLA017/037 over a 6-digit Sub without question, over a 5-digit Sub without too much hesitation and would have to see the exact 4-digit Sub in question before making a call.

I have a spare factory BLACK leather strap for that watch if you want a back up or the ability to change the look... They run about $180
