FSLY up $11 in a week....I don't see any real reasons but maybe we're headed back up to the hundred level.

It’s just participating in the rest of the tech rally, and is a stock that was perhaps slightly oversold with relatively few outstanding shares = larger price fluctuations. I am not interpreting this to mean it will go back to 100 in short order, but who knows.

Very pleased with Aphria. They acquired Sweet Water Brewing company. This is huge for US cannabis market.

I had mentioned I have a holding in Clean Energy ETF, QCLN as a means to get exposure to TSLA.

I guess the market sees a Biden win as a boom for reversing some of Trump’s environmental policies?

QCLN up > 7% today.
Up huge over the last year because of Tesla (My gain is currently over 100%)

Should I consider selling?

You're still going to have what looks like a divided Congress.

I'm pretty risky, so if it were me and I was looking to get exposure to TSLA, I would just buy TSLA - that way you're not diluted with all of the other energy companies within the ETF. Another option would be Cathie Wood and the ARK ETFs.

Nothing wrong with taking profits, especially with your current gain.

And meanwhile, Bitcoin price “not value” has exceeded 15,000.

In the last month has gone from 10.5 to to it’s 15 level. Still holding and hopefully I don’t end up calling myself dummy regarding this one. I got in about a year and a half ago.

Thanks for the advice. And I will think about selling to buy into TSLA.

Be safe,

That's right in my backyard, I visited that brewery when it was a tiny operation back in the late 90s.

I have 420 in the fridge right now in fact, it's not my favorite beer though, it was on sale at Costco

+1 on the split congress keeping many policies from changing drastically. I think that’s the main driver than Biden winning.

There was some discussion a few weeks ago about SQ holding bitcoin. I noticed Bitcoin is currently over 15k and the purchase by SQ must have been a bit over 10k. So far, it seems like SQ made a good move.

Seems like just a few days ago NIO was bumping up against a $30 ceiling. Blew through that. Today, $40 resistance. And it's now pierced that. Curious to see if it sticks.

For those interested in the backstory on Ant's IPO and why it was pulled, this article sheds some additional light.

Not a fan of bitcoin- I guess it can be treated as a commodity... I've seen people calling it digital gold, but personally I feel it is worth less than gold because you can't even craft it into anything of higher value. It is not a cashflowing business that returns profits to its investors, or a business that is turning the corner to profitability with tremendous growth/market prospects.

Not trying to bash blockchain technology- because I think that blockchain has tremendous potential to make "disruptive" waves across multiple industries.

If I were ever thinking about buying bitcoin I'd personally rather put that money towards fine watches or art by a great artist instead. At least those are something you get to enjoy on a regular basis and if bought well tend to hold value or appreciate in time.

Nice beat on earnings and revenue by SQ; staying long and will continue to add on dips to this one.

Now NET up 10%. If anyone is interested, I highly suggest reading the earnings transcript/listening to the call. I've been saying it for a while, but this thing is just getting started in terms of its technology and business growth.

Hey logo - months back I looked into NET on the back of your posts and I took the plunge having liked what I saw. I'm very glad I did too. Its one of the greenest positions I hold now.

After a four day run I am taking profits. Too many opportunities to preserve capital and protect gains.

CVS beat (finally) Futures are down slightly and not unexpected

Bullish sentiment now above the zero line

Not a bad move and have thought about it myself; the only thing that is personally stopping me is some cash that opened up for us from a 2 year CD that just expired...I don't want to sit on too much cash and will probably just ride the wave at this point, with that extra money on the ready for larger dips.

Different strategies for different folks!

I do think election fatigue is setting in and hopefully this doesn't go on for too much longer - let's get back to our regularly scheduled program...

I took some profits at the close yesterday. We got back up to the top of some decent resistance levels quite quickly.

Job growth up slightly and unemployment rate down which would be expected as a return from very serious levels.

Futures reacting slightly, Dow -100 now.

This does not change my very short term outlook (down) or my medium to longer term outlook (up).

I will protect gains and capital today.

Risk back on with the recent change in the news flow.

I am focused on the markets and being Friday this could be a dicey weeked to hold over.

Overzealous price action on OTRK this morning following earnings, presumably due to the low number of shares outstanding plus the overall market. They reported >170% YoY revenue increases, 40% revenue increase since last quarter, guiding at least 100% revenue gain in 2021, secured a telehealth contract with the VA system and are now EBITDA positive. Price drop is because their adjusted revenue for this year was guided to 85M instead of 90M as previously guided. I own shares, and might add a bit here. Nice discount on a small telehealth name IMO.

Markets appear unsure, I expect back and forth trading today, 2:00 will be crucial to the close.

I closed trades in MPC, TSM, LYB, TSLA and SQ. These were all short term trades for me.

Took more positions as well. Sold a $50 put way back that will expire next week. Straddled some at $55 and will wait to see where it goes. Can always sell $50 calls if it goes below $55 to balance of my open longs.

Interesting that you closed out of SQ; that's a long-term hold for me, as I think they have plenty of runway left and don't find the valuation insane (when compared to something like a TSLA).
