I've already admitted to myself that if I was ever in one of those situations, I would perish. If you plopped my fat butt in the desert, I'd be sweating bacon grease, cursing the world. I'd spend my final moments writing some crazy rant in the sand, and invite the buzzards to a fresh meal.

If I didn't have a fast food resteraunt, or grocery store nearby I'd starve. I have reserve blubber to ensure a few extra days of survival. As far as living off and . No thank you! I'll pout to death!

Its not the food that you have to worry about, its water.

Survival Rule of 3's

•3 minutes without air
•3 hours without shelter
•3 days without water
•3 weeks without food
•3 months without hope

these are general rules (more like guidelines)

Survival is a hobby of mine. I prefer to watch Survivorman. Here is some of my gear.

Here is a nasty little trap that will help you get some food.

Here is a very small fishing kit that I put together. It could make the difference between going hungry and eating like a king.

And when you do catch some food, nothing like a cool Titanium stove to cook it on. Thats the start up flame your seeing. It dies down to a nice hot blue flame. It also takes Iso fuel in a canister. Titanium cookware too.

You're the REAL Deal brah. Props to ya. I watch Survivor man too but he just doesnt inspire me to much. I feel the Bear could kick Les Strouds Ass and that is my motivation.

I don't know if I'm the real deal, but I do like gear. People that study primative living techniques are the REAL DEAL. They can MAKE their own tools and thrive without anything. Thats quickly becoming a lost art. I guess I could muttle my way through making a fire bow and a leaning shelter. I like asking myself.......What if.......this happens or that happens. I have learned a lot from Les and some from Bear also.

This is for when the trap doesn't work and you don't catch any fish.
