I am glad he got busted in Peru and I heard this morning that he cofessed. He probably won't ever get out of prision in Peru. It is supposed to be pretty rough there.

Lima, Peru (CNN) -- The attorney for Peru murder suspect Joran van der Sloot said he's going to ask the judge in charge of the case to strike down his client's confession in the death of 21-year-old Stephany Flores Ramirez.

Lawyer Maximo Altez told CNN affiliate Panamericana TV in an interview that aired Thursday that he would challenge the confession because van der Sloot was not being properly represented at the time he was interrogated.

Van der Sloot, a longtime suspect in the disappearance of U.S. teen Natalee Holloway five years ago in Aruba, was arrested last week in connection with Flores' slaying.

Flores' body was found in a hotel room registered to van der Sloot. Hotel surveillance video shows the pair entering his room and van der Sloot leaving alone more than three hours later.

Altez said Flores attacked van der Sloot first, after he confronted her for going through his computer. Police said Flores was badly beaten and suffered a broken neck.

Basically there was a Rover rigged for AV in Amsterdam (IIRC) and through the course of multiple recorded conversations he "confessed" to being involved in her dissappearance and disposal with the help of his friend(s). It really is too bad that another had to meet her demise by his hands as he felt untouchable after getting away with her murder/dissapearance. It looks like they've got it right this time and he'll get what's due him.

Yes I saw it and I think it is horrible they did not take action against him, he would have never killed again.

Exactly! This guy is another Ted Bundy. Not only is he a cold blooded killer... he's a clever SOB. As (Art 1) another post stated... he messed with the wrong family in Peru, and my guess would be that he will meet the same demise as a certain Mr. J. Dahmer... only much sooner.

The reason? He's afraid for his life inside the Peruvian prison where he's locked-up after being charged in the murder of business student Stephany Flores, 21.
"I don't want to be imprisoned in Peru," he told police, according to a local newspaper. "I am afraid I will be killed."

Anyone who has been jailed, even for a brief period, over seas can attest to the kill or be killed agenda that is in place for all foreigners. He is truly a coward. If he was hard ass enough to kill 2 innocent girls, he should be hard ass enough to defend himself.


A real man can survive in any environment. I have no pity for this piece of garbage. Let the inmates have themselves at him and see if he can survive.

That's an easy one, 'trends. This the most hyped, sensationalized, publicized ballyhooed criminal thing that's happened in Peru since the Incas. While everybody knows he's going to meet his demise in the prison, they at least want to pay some lip service to the idea that they are top-tier organized system of justice, just like the gringoes that have lately descended like locusts on their nation. Soon as the heat dies down however....
