DO you think that the RSC in NY would do the same? I have never been to an RSC
but can you walk in and drop off your watch for service in person?

I believe you can just walk in and drop it off. But they would have to come back to you and tell you what needs to be done.

The difference is that NY RSC, from what I've heard, will not return old parts. Giovanni from SFO RSC has given me back my seals (previous job) and bezel insert for posterity.

My understanding is that the seals are disposed and not returned to Rolex(Just like the Spring Bars),but the insert and other mainstream parts are...Very nice of him to return that Jib!! Normally they would not.....

Hi Johnny,
Hope all is well. I got my insert in the mail today as well. Although not as nicely wrapped as the other one, but at least the correct one. Just waiting for my LV to arrive now ;)

Well, I buy my watches in the UK, so it' actually sitting in the AD' s as we speak, but I wont be going over there until first weekend of October. So definitely have something ti look forward to, and at the same time not close to getting bored of my GMTc and GV, so I' ll manage the wait. As long as I know it's there. Would have different if this was the first one of course.
