I'm not sure where you were in Europe, but I've been all over Europe this year (most recently 2 weeks in Spain in June), and if anything, my experience is that Europeans more often wear much bigger watches (especially in southern Europe). When I bought my Deepsea, that same afternoon I had lunch at a table next to a woman wearing a Men's Sub. That cemented my decision to get the Deepsea.

What are the prices for a GMT IIc and Sub C going for from the sellers on TRF?

I had a DS on for 7 monthes 24/7 of wearing time and love it. Size it right and weight height is not a issue. Side note, can any DS owners show pics of their DS with the lum showing. I ask because mine is not blue like the rolex web site shows. Mine is greenish blue . I would like to conpare. Thanks

Well mine starts out blue on a very bright sunny day. Initial charge and as the intensity levels off it goes to a slight greenh blue. The blue more a dominant color.

i've flipped a lot of rolex models the past couple of years and i just couldnt understand why...until i got this beast...

The deep sea is CLEARLY a beautiful timepiece. But DAINTY it certainly is not. I am 6 feet tall I weigh 220 and I have a 17 1/2 inch neck. I tried on a Rolex Air King (too small) a Deepsea (too big) and a submariner (just right!).

Don't get me wrong the deep sea is gorgeous! A real show piece and seemingly very durable. When I start diving below 300m it will be the first one I buy..

And I work out regularly and have good sized forearms. And I was INTIMIDATED by that hunk of steel. That thing is a BEAST. God bless you guys that can pull it off...
