Anyone have any comments on the Zenith Grande Chrono? Looking into getting one. It has the EP 4002 movement.

I'm not a Zenith owner but every time I see one I am amazed by their looks, they're beautiful and perfect mixes of sport and dress watches.

mine is a 2001 vintage el primero rainbow flyback. no issues with resale as pre owned values risen sharply since I got it 3 years ago but it is not going anywhere soon - worn at least once a week.

What make Zenith as a brand even more interesting is that they make ALL of their movements in house, and they only make about 25,000 pieces per year. Compare that to 900,000 Rolex per year, and you have a much more exclusive watch brand.

Rolex thought enough of their movement to use it for more than a decade in their most expensive watch. I think as more people become aware of Zenith and its history, it will be a leading brand in the coming years. LVMH Group now owns them.

Great looking Zenith models in this thread Some of them are on my shopping list.

Zenith makes great watches, often with intricate designs and complications comparable with the best of them. I am certainly a great fan. Some of the recent contemporary designs are however not my cup of tea.

It is one of the few brands producing watches with high quality in-house movements while still being relatively affordable. I consider them one of the 'biggest bang for your buck' swiss brands.

Zenith along with quite a few other brands are greatly underestimated and undervalued as they are not as mainstream as Rolex and certainly not as hyped.

I have this incoming and it certainly will not be my last Zenith
