Sell them both, and get the SS GMT II. You will be lost now without a Dual Time watch. You will need your Explorer II and SS GMT II when you are living next door to me in Cambodia.

I guess what I am getting at is, is it really necessary to have a TT in your collection? I always thought I wanted gold as part of my collection, but I just don't seem to be drawn to wearing them lately.

What do you guys think? Motivate me to keep my TT Rolex please.

I have a solution for you, send your TTs to me ...and if you really miss them, I migth send them back...

My wife made a wise crack about me being an old and bald corvette driver with a TT GMT Master hanging out the car window. I showed her......bought a SS Black Sub "D" and now my arm stays inside the car. Now I feel lot better. Its been my observation that any Rolex gets the same amout of attention from the general public. Buy and wear what you like.

I would recommend holding on to the TT Subs. Gold prices are on the rise, sooner or later Rolex will increase the price on the gold models. I would say wait and see how high the prices go, then sell them if you are not interested in them anymore. To sell them now, will give someone else the gain in price increases.

TT is versatile but i don't know why i don't like it. I really like the full gold watches but they draw too much attention

The TT Blue is a beauty. Every time I have been wearing something else and I put it back on, I can't help but smile.

I'm not a big fan of gold so I prefer the SS over the TT. The only reason why I would get the TT blue is because of the dial.

I have worn my SS GMT for 25 years and feel most comfortable wearing a SS watch anywhere. I had a TT GMT that lasted about 4 years a long time ago and I have had a black faced TT Daytona for 12 years. I love the TT Daytona but just don't wear it much...maybe 14 days a year. I did, however, just order a new SS GMT II that i can't wait to wear everyday. After 25 years, I finally found a suitable replacement for my original GMT. I'll save the old one for my son.
