I like the Rolex a lot and have deferred on buying a Daytona this year to compliment my DSSD and Navitimer. I have deferred to save up for it as my AD advises zero discount as they are rare and to order. I do prefer the white gold version and I have tried it on whilst considering a Daytona, it is big and much heavier than the DSSD, but feels superb, but the white gold is way too expensive. I will have to wait until 2013 though and I may have gone full circle by then on what I want as I have just started looking at an IWC Y-M again!

TT YM, but I'd rather have all gold.

I fit like many appreciate the science behind the YMII but done really rate the outside, for me it still looks like a lollypop or a prop for a Ralph Lauren commercial. I am not a fan of the Cartier, but if it was a choice of what would be on my wrist would go the Cartier. But like a couple of comments for me it would be the something else box I would have ticked, and there are many for me that would slot in here beginning with Breguet or Patek. But variety is the spice of life, and you would not get any complaints from me for either.

I am surprised that some people in TRF voted for the Cartier

If I owned a big yacht, then the YM II. If not, the C word would win in this choice.
