Here is one of my MBS. Just got it last week. It is a 146 Solitaire Doue in a herringbone pattern. If you look closely you will notice that the barrel is chased in the same herringbone pattern

This was my favorite in my past collection as I no longer collect pens. Regrettable, to this date, it's the only one I wish I would have kept.

I'm glad I finally took the time to peruse the pen side of the forum. Here is my Legrand Platinum and my Sub. Great pens everyone.

Don't see too many fountain pens of Asian origin here. I own a MB 149 and two ST Duponts, but my favourite pens are Japanese. Left to right: Namiki Emperor in vermilion urushi, Namiki Yukari Royale in black urushi, and Sailor King of Pen in crimson urushi. Pen rests are Nakaya in kuro-tamenuri urushi.

Blue Star Walker has a great rich color
One of my favorites. I had it in a drawer, pulled it out for the watch today and replaced the fine liner. I enjoyed writing with it all day. Fun pen.

As a matter of fact I sent my MB-EF to a nibmeister to get ground, but not as much as fine as the Sailor. |

68camaro, I like your pens and I agree...nothing like writing with Fountain pens. The experiences of using them is without parallel.....and I too prefer the smaller nibs with an extra-fine nib being the largest I use!!!
Take it easy.....Leo

it's not a fancily posed picture or anything like that, but here's my Jonathan Swift writer series Mont Blanc. My favorite of the three I have.

One of my favorites this year (that seems to change more often than I would like) is my Nakaya Burl Walnut 1.1 Italic! This wood absorbs hand oils becoming more rich and develops a deep patina over time.

Here's my trusted Sub with my equally trusted Onoto fountain pen.
It's a limited edition Charles Dickens Nickleby with a custom medium stub nib. My best pen over all other MBs and GvFC I own! |
