I went with the GMTIIc. Now it's just a matter of getting it in the mail. I liked the clean look of the Exp 39mm, but when factoring cost and the added date and time zone feature it was a better option for me now. This is my first Rolex purchase and I can see how this can get out of hand.

I'm a newbie/first time Rolex owner in the last 10 days (36mm OP/Silver Dial). My experience after looking at photos and trying models on is that for me there was a big difference between what looked good in a photo and what I liked on my wrist. After a few years of looking, researching, and trying on, I never would have guessed I'd walk out wearing what's on my wrist now, but I'm very happy with my simple choice! So my advice is take your time and try everything on; you may surprise yourself with what you want on your wrist. Good luck and have fun in the process.
