The current Daytona SS will soon be discontinued and about time too and replaced with a ceramic Paul Newman dial daytona if Rolex had any sense.

Perhaps those heavily blink models not many can afford to buy

I'm sure it's an Angelo Galasso Polso Orologio shirt which he designed in the 90's as a nod to Gianni Agnelli who was well known for wearing his watch over the cuff & apparently did this as he had a skin condition.

I'd say you were correct on the eccentric front to be honest but it has been said it was due to a condition for whatever reason.......coming to think of it they probably came up with that story after that photo got published

spoke to customer services uk, 2 months ago , and was told the hulk , would not be available / made after November , new colour coming,
I think it would help ,watch collectors if models , stopped production and started again in new colours. |

If they discontinued the Cellinis or Airkings for ceramic SS Daytonas or ceramic two coloured GMTcs then I wouldn't complain.

milgauss gv- inflated hype/price on role out- ultimately disliked by daytona, sub types. What does this mean? It's destined to become a semi immediate collectors piece of course. ....way too funky and slow selling not to be discontinued - but way to funky to not be desperately wanted and beloved AFTER it's been discontinued.

They will probably discontinue the sub because they just sell to many of them and are tired of making them.

Milgauss doesn't make much sense, but do any of these rigs, honestly?

Milgauss, it's been pretty much embarrassed by the new Omega Aqua Terra >15000 Gauss, without the need for the bulky soft iron core.

Who can say. Only Rolex knows the answer on this, and won't reveal it until the last second.

When trends and fashions change, the line will be adjusted. I think we will be transitioning into smaller watches in the next five years, but meanwhile there is hunger for the big stuff, so everything has a market.
