I wear mine pretty much daily and yes it has some surface scratches, but they don't bother me. I smile every time I check the time and that alone is worth it! A stunning piece!

Daytona is a nice piece, but not an everyday watch for me.

I thought I'd wear my Daytona more as a dress watch and my Explorer II would be my daily wear watch. I'm finding that I wear my Daytona more and more. I just love it. It could easily be my only watch.

Yes you can use it daily. Lots of people do. Only thing you're missing is a date, but you'll get used to it in a couple of days.

I do not own a Daytona, however, would have no problem wearing one as a daily. I am sure many on the forum have them as daily wearers...

I do really like my SS White Dial but I would like it more if it had a date, some lume and was a little more legible. P.S. I'm over 50.

After having a Daytona for three months, I have come to grips with the fact that I need the date function on my watch.

Every watch will show wear, especially the more you wear it.
Polished surfaces will always show hairline scratches very readily. Whether or not that'll bother you depends on whether or not you expect the watch to 'look' perfect with use. Otherwise, the Daytona is extremely durable and makes a great everyday beater. |

There's not a man, woman, or child alive who doesn't need at least 20 watches.
It's like bowling balls. You think you can get by with one entry-level reactive ball, then as you get into the game and understand how it all works, you realize that you need multiple high-performance balls, a plastic ball, and there's still a place for that entry-level ball in your arsenal. I'm just kidding about the watches. The right watch could very well serve as one's only watch and I think the best company for finding such a watch is the Rolex Oyster line. The bowling ball analogy is the truth, though.

Need to take more and clear ones.
Bessel has no scratches. This watch is bullet proof. This photo was at quarter century of use, still looks new after thirty years plus Nothing wrong with Ferrari owners.....they like to fix their cars a lot but when serviced right they are almost as good as an old 6263 from the eighties....in pleasure of driving not the show.... |

What I have found is to concentrate on the date in the morning and the rest of the day it is no problem remembering.

Having only one watch is something I think about, but haven't lived with in a very long time.
However, if I had to choose only one of my watches, the Daytona would easily be the first choice. I never tire of wearing it. As for wabi, I've never cared about that with any of my watches. They still look really good. Rob

I wear my TT Daytona almost everyday. I don't wear it for water sports. Other than that it a beautiful timepiece for all occasions.
