For different options and pricepoints, I would suggest these "true" white dials:

Patek Nautilus:

Rolex DJ II:

Omega De Ville:

That would be my pick, very crisp white dial.

Just be aware that it's very hard to find DJII under 4K US dollars.

I would say impossible unless it is in really really rough shape. You would need to up your budge to about $5500 price range to snag a DJII without a fluted bezel (SS only).

You could pick up a DJ in your price range.

Aqua Terra Annual Calendar (2014 model)...just picked it up yesterday! It's my "under-the-radar" watch I can wear with a suit (or with jeans).

Agree with JJ here. With a budget south of $4k I would go with a classic white dial DJ with fluted bezel. Very classy indeed.

JLC ultra thin. You might find a preowned steel around your price range.

FC makes some nice looking dress watches...

The Classics Manufacture for about $2600 with an all in house movement. One of the better values in the watch world.

The Classics Index with an ETA movement for around $1000. A nice looking entry level watch.

It's the 43 mm, but it wears smaller (which I like).
